AFP- An army bomb disposal squad was sent Monday to the house of a British family shot dead in the French Alps, while the security cordon was widened and neighbouring homes evacuated. The local Surrey police force told AFP they had evacuated the immediate area around the Hilli family home in the village of Claygate, southwest of London, due to "concerns around items found at the address"(photo by satguru). A source told AFP that a "potentially explosive substance" had been found at the house. A Royal Logistics Corps bomb disposal van was present at the scene, an AFP photographer said. |
